At Mother Teresa Institute of Nursing, we uphold the highest standards of integrity, compassion, and respect. Ragging in any form—whether physical, verbal, emotional, or psychological—is strictly prohibited and is considered a grave violation of our institutional values.

Our institution is a safe and inclusive space where every student deserves to feel welcomed, supported, and empowered. As per the guidelines of the Indian Nursing Council and the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, we have adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards ragging. Any student found engaging in ragging will face severe disciplinary action, including suspension, expulsion, and legal consequences under the Anti-Ragging Act.

We believe in nurturing a culture of empathy and unity. Senior students are encouraged to act as mentors, not tormentors, and to guide their juniors in academics, clinical practice, and personal development. To support this environment, the institute has an Anti-Ragging Committee and an Anti-Ragging Squad in place. Students can report incidents confidentially, and appropriate action will be taken promptly.

We urge all students to stand united against ragging and to uphold the values of kindness and dignity. Let us together build a future where learning thrives in a safe and respectful community.

Say NO to ragging. Say YES to respect, harmony, and growth.
